Millions more eyes with Warrp’s Facebook Shop


Warrp will capture a larger pre-owned goods market with quicker sales on the back of its recently launched Facebook Shop, with more cross-platform collaborations to come.


MELBOURNE, Victoria, July 7, 2021 - Warrp is expanding its footprint with its latest Facebook Shop integration, ensuring items listed on Australia’s newest marketplace platform will also be seen by millions of Australian Facebook users. 


This latest move was designed to engage the growing trend of social media buying, with the global social commerce market expected to hit more than $805 billion by 2027 according to Stock Apps research.


Warrp Co-Founder and CEO, Matthew Ng, said Warrp’s Facebook Shop would help diversify the platform’s selling channels and build its audience. 


“Facebook is the country’s most popular social network with about 16 million monthly active users in Australia, so the Facebook Shop feature will ensure more touchpoints for every pre-owned goods listing on Warrp,” said Mr Ng.


“Importantly, sellers do not need to list their goods on multiple platforms, just upload an item on Warrp and it is automatically populated on our Facebook Shop.


“Speed to sale is a big focus of this new development, so with an expanded buyer market we expect faster sales. Plus, items are supported with paid dynamic ads at no cost to the Warrp user.”

Warrp is expected to build on its Facebook Shop offering with a presence on Google Shopping and Instagram Shopping in the near future.
